Cordoba is a typical city of Andalusia located 150km from Seville. It is mainly known for its Moorish history as it was a significant Muslim city in the Middle Age. Especially known for its Grand Mosque, the Mezquita, dating back 784AD. This city was for a time the capital city of Muslim territory in the south of Spain, known as the Caliphate of Cordoba. Its historic center is now classified in UNESCO World Heritage Site.
