Kutná Hora, a city located in the Central Bohemian Region, used to be famous for its silver mines. This is why, in the past, the Czech king had decided to move the capital of the country to this city, and the city became one the wealthiest city in Europe. The St. Barbara Cathedral is the main landmark of the city. Sedlec is a suburb of Kutná Hora, in which the Sedlec Abbey can be visited. Inside the abbey, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints, travellers can visit the Sedlec Ossuary. Since 1995, the city center of Kutná Hora and Sedlec Abbey have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Kutná Hora can be reached with day tours departing from Prague, which included Sedlec Abbey and Sedlec Ossuary.
