London's latest attraction, The View From The Shard dominates London’s skyline like no other building. Boasting a 360-degree panorama view with 40 miles of visibility on a clear day, the Shard is the tallest building in Europe at the height of 310m.
Take the double-decker high-speed elevator up and admire London's best view, from floors 68, 69 and 72. The lift travels at six meters per second, meaning you go from level 1 up to level 68 in less than 60 seconds.
You will admire the main attractions of the city such as the Tower of London, the Big Ben, the London Bridge, or the Buckingham Palace.
The main gallery on level 69 is a stunning three storeys high, flooded with light during daytime and the perfect spot to admire the glittering lights of London at night.
For an even higher experience, reach the outdoor viewing gallery on level 72. You will be surrounded by the notorious ‘shards’ of glass which form the top of The Shard.
If you’d instead enjoy the view while having a nice meal or a drink, there are a total of five bars and restaurants at the Shard to consider.
Look out upon the city and enjoy a feeling of being above it all.
Visitors who wish to see the View from the Shard will be required to purchase timed tickets.
There are three different types of tickets:
It is highly recommended to purchase tickets ahead of time, as you can save up to 20% per person.
Visitors will be required to go through a security check before heading to the top of the Shard, so we recommend purchasing tickets for at least 30 minutes before the time that you want to enjoy the view.
Although you must arrive at the time specified on your voucher, you are allowed to stay as long as you wish.
If the cloudy English weather spoils the panorama and if you can’t see at least three of London top landmarks, you will be able to come back for free in the next three months.
If you are looking to purchase tickets for the Shard, there are several attractions passes (iVenture Card, the London City Pass) which offer discounts on admission to View from the Shard.
You can also save 20% by simply ordering your tickets ahead of time.
You may want to consider combined tickets if you plan on seeing more than just one landmark while visiting London.
Combine your skip the line entrance ticket with a ride on the London Eye, a walking tour of Central London, or a sightseeing river cruise along the Thames. There are many options available.
Designed by Renzo Piano, The Shard boasts the highest observation deck in London. The view from t he Shard is simply mesmerizing.
You will enjoy unparalleled 360-degree views across London stretching for up to 40 miles around. Admire many historic landmarks from a bird’s-eye view, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London to name a few.
Don't forget your camera as you have the best backdrop to take the ultimate selfie. Whether you are a local or just visiting the capital, the stunning view from the Shard is one attraction not to be missed.
