Arrábida National Park
The Natural Park of Arrabida, located between Sesimbra and Setubal, 50km away from Lisbon, is a protected area from 1976. Mediterranean vegetation covers this area, which streches between sandy beaches and high mountain peaks. The fauna and flora of the region are also really rich with 213 species of animals and several different plants from the atlantic to the mediterranean origins. The park is also known for being in the film of James Bond, On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
