Pitti Palace

The Pitti Palace is a famous palace, being the largest architectural construction in Florence. This palace, built in 1457 for Pitti family, is one of the first places that you cannot miss while visiting Florence. It was home to Luca Pitti and was later bought by the Medici family in 1549, becoming a treasure house. Paintings, plates, jewelry and luxurious possessions that the powerful family used to own are now part of the huge amount of exhibits of the biggest complex museum in Florence.
