The Luxor Museum is an archaeological museum that was erected in 1975 along the East Bank of the Nile River. The exhibit features an incredible collection of artifacts that were uncovered from the tomb of Tutankhamun.

The museum takes about 2 hours to peruse as it’s filled with incredible pieces such as Tutankhamun's horse carriage and weapons and the golden cow's head of goddess Hathor.

Mummification Museum

The Mummification Museum in Luxor was created with the purpose of explaining the intricate process Egyptians took to preserve the body. While exploring the museum you’ll learn the religious importance of the ritual while seeing how the practice took place.
